PICTOREAL is a group of high-spirited and effervescent individuals. It is one of the most
sought-after non-technical clubs at Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT). It has
published 27 vibrant volumes of the college’s magazine so far, each capturing the remarkable
contributions and evolving interests of the students at PICT. While the chief objective remains
the publication of the annual magazine, PICTOREAL also thoughtfully curates and conducts a
variety of events throughout the year. These initiatives help nurture pragmatic skills like public
speaking, confidence, event management, and creative expression through writing, visuals,
photography, and now, emerging platforms like podcasts.
At PICTOREAL, we believe in giving back to society. To uphold this culture within PICT, PICT-
O-SOCIAL, a dedicated subgroup of PICTOREAL, compassionately arranges activities like
orphanage visits, old-age home visits, and career counselling sessions to foster meaningful
social engagement among students. Adding to its vibrant journey, PICTOREAL introduced
Pictofest, a homegrown art festival envisioned, developed, and wholeheartedly conducted by
the team to celebrate creativity and artistic expression within the PICT community. At
PICTOREAL, we hold close to our motto — “May Thoughts, Colours, and Words prevail!”
